Astra Superior Platinum Double Edge Razor Blades are known for their smoothness, sharpness and durability. These excellent platinum plated stainless steel blades are made by Gillette at their European plant in St. Petersburg Russia.
This pack contains 5 blades, and each blade is individually wrapped to assure safety, sterility and long shelf life.
Widely used by barbers in Europe, Astra blades can be snapped in half for use in a straight razor that takes a replaceable blade. They also fit all traditional double edge safety razors such as Merkur, Edwin Jagger, Muhle etc.
This is one of the sharpest blades on the market - almost as sharp as blades that are nearly four times the cost such as the Feather. But the choice of blades is very personal. If you prefer an aggressive blade, then the Astra would be a very good choice. However, if you prefer a more forgiving, slightly duller blade, then you may want to consider the Derby, Dorco or Shark blades.

You may return an item within 7 days of the shipping date as long as it has not been used and all accessories and packaging must be unopened and undamaged. Items must be returned within 7 days of the delivery date. Return shipping charges will be paid by the customer.
If the inspection of the item reveals the item to be used, any packaging damaged, or any items missing, the return may be denied. The customer will be responsible for the cost of the return shipping of the item back to the customer.
Returned items must have a copy of the sales receipt and all packaging, including warranty cards, instructions, etc. The merchandise and packaging must be in new condition. Returns must be packed inside a shipping carton with adequate packing.
All defective electricals are to be sent to the respective manufacturer for warranty service.
EXCHANGES for other items are not available at this time. In order to exchange for another item, the item must be returned and refunded and a new order must be placed for the desired item

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
